Pedro Tobias

Pedro Tobias is an Environmental Engineer and sustainability professional at Lombardi Engineering Group based in Sydney, Australia. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

With over 15 years of international experience across the infrastructure, renewable energy, and resources sectors, Pedro specialises in sustainability, environmental management, HSEQ systems, and ESG implementation. He has contributed to major hydropower and pumped hydro energy storage developments in Australia and internationally, supporting large-scale renewable energy infrastructure and the transition to a low-carbon and climate-resilient energy system.

His experience includes sustainability assessments, stakeholder engagement, environmental and social management, and compliance reviews under the Hydropower Sustainability Standard (HSS). Pedro is committed to advancing sustainable hydropower development and promoting international good practice in renewable energy infrastructure
