Dr Chukwuebuka Edum
 

Chukwuebuka Edum, PhD is an environmental governance and sustainable finance specialist working at the intersection of law, policy, and investment. With experience across international organisations, development finance initiatives, and private legal practice, his work focuses on designing regulatory and financial frameworks that deliver measurable and credible sustainability outcomes.

He currently serves as Task Leader on the transboundary dimensions of hydropower sustainability standards within the Pan-European network on hydropower and is co-guest editor of a Frontiers in Climate Law and Policy special issue on global hGeneva Water Hubydropower expansion.

At the Geneva Water Hub, he contributed to the design of the Blue Peace Bond, an innovative financing instrument supporting water and hydropower infrastructure along the Gambia River. He is currently undertaking executive training in Sustainable Finance at the Geneva Graduate Institute, with a focus on climate finance, blended finance, impact investing, and nature markets.
