Non Okumura

Non Okumura is a technical consultant at Sweco specializing in hydrology, hydraulics and dam safety based in Stockholm, Sweden. She has a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, a master’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering and has 9 years of broad experience from both the environmental and engineering sectors, working at technical, practical and strategic levels. She has been involved in engineering consulting projects in the field of hydrologic/hydraulic studies, dam safety, sediment issues, water quality, IWRM and emergency management. She has experience as a project manager in complex multi- and interdisciplinary projects.

Non is a co-opt member of the technical committee ‘Public Safety and Emergency Management’ at ICOLD (2025-2026) and has been involved in the work for bulletins regarding emergency management.
