Selusiwe Moyo

Selusiwe Yvonne Moyo is a Provisionally Accredited Assessor under the Hydropower Sustainability Standard, bringing more than 10 years of experience across hydropower, energy regulation and transboundary water-resources management in Zambia and Zimbabwe.

As Manager – Public Relations and Communications at the Zambezi River Authority, she works across stakeholder engagement, ESG reporting, governance, monitoring and evaluation, enterprise risk and strategy performance. Her hydropower experience includes stakeholder engagement for the Kariba Dam Rehabilitation Project and the preparation-stage Batoka Gorge and Devil’s Gorge Hydro-Electric Schemes.

Selusiwe combines strong stakeholder and institutional insight with assurance and evidence-review capability. She is a Certified User of the Hydropower Sustainability Standard, an ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems)  and an ISO 14001:2026 (Environmental Management Systems) Lead Auditor. She is also a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner (Chart.PR, MCIPR – UK) and holds a Master of Commerce in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance as well as a BSc (Hons) in Media and Society Studies.

Her particular strengths for sustainability assessment include stakeholder mapping and consultation, ESG and corporate governance, risk communication, evidence-based reporting, monitoring and evaluation, and navigating complex community and institutional dynamics surrounding major infrastructure projects.
