Georgia Chin Chiew Yeh
Georgia is a senior project engineer for the Projects Department at Sarawak Energy Berhad, based in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Her responsibilities are to manage the Main Civil Works Package for Baleh Hydro Electric Project with capacity of 1258MW upon completion.
Georgia holds a master’s degree in Corporate Business Administration from University Malaysia Sarawak and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Swinburne University of Technology. She is also a Project Management Professional certified by Project Management Institute, PMI. She has been involved in hydropower projects since 2012 and has experienced in hydropower projects at the Conceptual, Pre-Engineering and Construction Phase as well as Front-End Loading for transmission line projects.
Georgiahas also been taking part in various internal and official HSAP and HSS Assessments for Sarawak Energy’s hydropower projects. Apart from her current main responsibilities in Baleh Hydropower Project, she is working alongside with the Sustainability Team in Sarawak Energy to implement and carry out internal assessments for official assessment readiness
